Hi! We usually recommend any of the Focusrite Scarlett soundcards, such as the Scarlett 2i2. However, if you're having latency despite using a soundcard this may be because of another setup issue. If you get in touch with our support team at help@vochlea.co.uk and mention the details of your setup they should be able to point you in the right direction 🎤

@@VochleaMusic I only have the integrated sound card that came with the Dell. I’ve been reading that sound cards are becoming kind of obsolete and most people are using audio interfaces. I just want to make sure that’s going to improve this situation.

@@ofiasdfnosdf Hi! The Scarlett 2i2 is an audio interface. It will definitely improve the situation, but you should definitely check whether your setup meets our minimum system requirements: vochlea.com/specs

Hi! Have you tried reducing your DAW's buffer size? We recommend a buffer size of 128 or less while using Dubler 2. Some DAW's like Ableton and Logic Pro also have low latency modes that reduce latency even further. If that still doesn't work be sure to get in touch with our support team at help@vochlea.co.uk and they can look into the issue further!

Hi! It is ok to work from that as long as you reduce the input sensitivity faders in Dubler's Play Tab. This will ensure that audio from your speakers does not affect your input

Hi! After installing Dubler 2 the Dubler MIDI Capture should appear in your plugins list in Ableton. If you haven't set up Ableton to scan your computer's plugins folder you can head to Ableton's preferences and click the plugins tab. Here you can enable the Audio Unit and VST3 folders. Then if you click 'Rescan' at the top, all of your plugins should appear.

Hi! Dubler allows you to split your output into different MIDI channels. This means you can output your pitch, chords and triggers MIDI to different channels in your DAW. With pitch bend active on the melody and disabled on chords you would then be able to record your melody and pitch bend MIDI to one channel, while recording chords to another.
